This policy explains how ImageSplitKit handles information when you use the image splitter or contact us. For privacy questions, email hybkubo1@163.com.
1. Images and generated files
Selected images are read and processed on your device. ImageSplitKit does not upload your image, its filename, previews or generated ZIP to a server for processing. The sample image is also generated on your device. Clipboard images are read only when you actively paste into the page; the tool does not automatically read your clipboard.
The tool holds the active image and generated results in browser memory. Choosing another image or using “Clear image” releases those results from the tool; closing the page ends the session. This is not a secure-erasure guarantee for your device or browser.
Your original file is not changed. Downloaded files remain in your browser’s download location until you manage or delete them.
Loading an image link
When you submit an image URL or paste one onto the image selection area, your browser requests that URL directly from the image host. That host can receive your IP address, the full requested URL (including query parameters), request time and browser information. The request omits cookies and the referrer. The host may still receive the browser Origin header for cross-origin access checks.
ImageSplitKit does not relay the URL through a proxy or save it to application storage. Links must use HTTPS and the host must permit browser access. Once loaded, the image is processed locally like a selected file. Clearing the image cancels a pending request but cannot undo a request already received by the host.
2. Optional analytics and your choice
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits and whether people load an image, generate tiles and click a download. Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. Choosing “No thanks” leaves every image tool available and does not load the Google Analytics tag. You can change your choice at any time using “Analytics settings” in the footer.
If you allow analytics, Google receives technical information such as your IP address during requests, browser and device information, the page you visited, a referring website origin, and cookie identifiers used to measure sessions and returning visits. Our custom events contain only input source (file, drop, paste, link or sample), selected rows and columns, output format, download type and fixed error categories. A download click does not confirm that a file was saved.
We do not send images, original filenames, pasted image links, form contents or raw error messages in analytics events. We strip page query strings and fragments, and send only the origin of referring websites. Enhanced measurement, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in this setup. Analytics is enabled only on our production hostname, not localhost or preview deployments.
Your choice is stored in this browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. After consent, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_L7QTG4JM87, configured with a 180-day expiry that may be renewed by use. Choosing “No thanks” stops future Analytics collection and clears these cookies on this site. It does not erase data previously sent to Google. Clearing browser storage removes your saved choice.
If browser storage is blocked, your choice may apply only to the current page. Analytics may also be blocked by browser settings or extensions, so reports do not represent every visitor. For information on Google’s processing, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Contact us at the email below with questions about previously collected data.
Images and generated files stay in browser memory as described above. The application does not store them in local storage or IndexedDB, and has no advertising scripts, user accounts or payment collection. Your browser may separately cache resources and keep browsing or download history.
3. Requests to load the website
This website is hosted on Vercel. Loading it requires requests for its pages and assets. The infrastructure serving those requests can receive technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time and browser information, and may keep access or security logs.
These requests are different from uploading an image. ImageSplitKit’s image-processing code does not attach your selected images or their filenames to them. Hosting log settings and retention depend on the service providing the website; contact us if you need details about the version you are using.
4. When you email us
Email is optional. If you write to hybkubo1@163.com, your email address, message and any attachments are delivered through email providers, including the provider of our 163.com mailbox. Emailing an attachment sends it outside the local image-processing tool.
We use correspondence to respond to requests, investigate problems and understand feedback. Please describe the issue without sending sensitive images or unnecessary personal information.
We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and relevant follow-up, or to meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent. Available rights and any retention requirements depend on applicable law.
5. Updates and contact
We will update this policy when our handling of information changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Send questions or privacy requests to hybkubo1@163.com.
