A simple tool for a precise cut.

About ImageSplitKit

Last updated:

ImageSplitKit splits one image into equal-sized tiles. Choose rows and columns, check the numbered cut lines, and download the result. The default layout is one row of three tiles.

One job, from start to finish

Select, drop or paste a JPG, PNG or WebP image, or try the sample. Choose a preset or a custom grid with 1–10 rows and columns. Export PNG, JPEG or WebP files individually or together in a ZIP. Numbering runs left to right, then top to bottom.

The tool is free to use. There is no account, subscription or payment step.

What stays the same—and what changes

The tool does not stretch images or resize them to a social platform’s dimensions. If the width or height does not divide evenly into the chosen grid, you confirm trimming the remaining pixels from the right or bottom edge. JPEG and WebP use adjustable lossy compression; JPEG fills transparency with your chosen background color.

Cut guides are only a preview. They are not drawn into the downloaded files. Your original file is not changed.

A clear scope

This version makes general-purpose image grids, including horizontal strips, vertical stacks and 3×3 layouts. It does not offer platform-specific carousel cropping, a social profile simulator or print-page layout. Check the tile size examples before choosing an image for a specific layout.

Your image stays on your device

Image reading, splitting and ZIP creation happen in your browser. There is no image upload step. Ordinary page requests and optional email correspondence are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Help shape the next improvement

If an image fails to process or a step is unclear, send feedback. Describe the task and what happened; you do not need to send the original image.
